Provisur Set to Unveil New Beluga Separation Technology in “Big Splash” at IPPE in Atlanta, January 31- February 2

Chicago, IL – Olivier Kerdiles, Vice President of Provisur Technology’s Separation Business Unit, today announced the company’s intention to make a “Big Splash” at the 2017 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, GA, by unveiling their new Provisur Beluga Separation Technology on Jan. 31.

“Meat and poultry processors involved in sausage production, as well as a wide variety of other applications, will definitely benefit from our latest advances in separation technology. Processors will be pleased to discover that product texture and consistency can be noticeably improved, while simultaneously increasing throughput,” Kerdiles says.

The new Beluga will be part of Provisur’s separation business, joining a market-leading lineup of separation technology that already includes machine models bearing the names Barracuda and Piranha.

According to Kerdiles, “The new Beluga is designed to efficiently handle a wide variety of raw materials and to yield higher volumes of finished product with textures that approximate the look of ground meat. The low pressure, single screw, low RPM design is key to minimizing temperature rise, increasing throughput and virtually eliminating product giveaway.”

In addition to unveiling the Beluga within the Georgia World Congress Center, Provisur will celebrate introduction of the new technology at a “Big Splash” private event hosted within the world-renowned Georgia Aquarium, just blocks from the IPPE show.

“We are fortunate that a beautiful Beluga whale, the namesake of our technology, is a featured inhabitant of the magnificent Georgia Aquarium. Customers who visit our IPPE booth will have the rare opportunity to view this magnificent creature in its beautiful environment while they socialize with our Provisur colleagues and industry guests,” Kerdiles said.

The new Beluga, along with the latest technology from eight Provisur machinery brands will be on display throughout the entire IPPE, Jan. 31 – Feb. 2. Attendees are invited see the machinery and talk with Provisur experts to discover the solutions best suited to their processing challenges.
