Rentokil Webinar

The global leader in pest control will host the free webinar on Wednesday, October 7th at 12pm EST

READING, Penn. (September 30, 2020) — Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, rodent populations were on the rise. Unfortunately, the shutdowns across the country exacerbated the problem in businesses, manufacturing and food processing facilities. Rentokil, the global leader in pest control, announced the launch of a free webinar, “The Rodent Problem – What You Need To Know Now,”  to tackle the topic of the growing rodent issues for professionals in food manufacturing, shipping and storing.

The discussion will cover how COVID-19 has contributed to the booming rodent populations, key facts about rodent behavior, and review how new technology can reduce disruption and help business leaders stay ahead of potential rodent issues while keeping their employees and customers safe.

“It is no secret that rodent populations are on the rise,” said John Myers, President and CEO of Rentokil North America. “With so many businesses shut down or on reduced hours during the pandemic, rodents are reproducing at alarming rates. During this webinar, our experts will discuss the new challenges specific to the manufacturing and food processing industry and explain how to increase business efficiency through real-time insights with new technology.”

The speakers include Dr. Nancy Troyano, Chris Wible and Becky Campbell from Rentokil North America. Dr. Troyano is a  Board Certified Entomologist and the Director of Operations Education and Training. She earned her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and is responsible for leading and supporting the development of pest service specialist training for the Rentokil companies. Wible is the Director of Technical Services at Rentokil, and he leads the charge for developing and implementing the company’s commercial and residential service offerings, as well as leading the pest control innovation agenda. Campbell, the product manager for Rentokil’s e-services, is responsible for innovation and technology-related products.

The experts will discuss additional technology, such as PestConnect, which can help with Food Safety Modernization Act plans and objectives, as well as practice tips to reduce rodent risks immediately.  PestConnect is a portfolio of remote, digital monitoring systems that increase efficiency and reduce pest disruption in businesses.
