SUMMARY:FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Participant Course Version 2.0 (hybrid)
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nNew Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations require that certain food safety related activities\, such as the management of food safety plans\, must be completed by a “preventive controls qualified individual” (PCQI) who has “successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls”. \nThe Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation is intended to ensure safe manufacturing / processing\, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States. \nThis course developed by the FSPCA is the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA and fulfills the FSMA requirement for a PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual). \nUnder the Preventive Controls for Human Food rule\, the responsibilities of a “preventive controls qualified individual” include to oversee or perform 1) preparation of the Food Safety Plan\, 2) validation of the preventive controls\, 3) records review\, 4) reanalysis of the Food Safety Plan\, and other activities as appropriate to the food. See § 117.180 and 507.53 for more details. \nParticipants will receive an official FSPCA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual certificate of completion after the class. \nCourse Outline\n\nIntroduction to Course\nFood Safety Plan Overview\nGood Manufacturing Practices and Other Prerequisite Programs\nBiological Food Safety Hazards\nChemical\, Physical\, and Economically Motivated Food Safety Hazards\nPreliminary Steps in Developing a Food Safety Plan\nHazard Analysis and Preventive Controls Determination\nProcess Preventive Controls\nFood Allergen Preventive Controls\nSanitation Preventive Controls\nSupply Chain Preventive Controls\nVerification and Validation Procedures\nRecord-keeping Procedures\nRecall Plan\nRegulation Overview—cGMP and Hazard Analysis and Risk Based\n\nWhat previous students are saying about this class:\n\n“Great ‘hands on’ approach – good applicable presentation of real life events and or experience.”\n“All information was relevant in understanding and implementing new\, changing regulations in the industry”\n“The class is very interactive and fun”\n\nPlease click the following for a downloadable flyer of the Food Safety class schedule: Food Safety Summer/Fall 2026 \n

SUMMARY:Managing Ingredient Price Volatility Without Constant Reformulation
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nIngredient prices move daily\, and most formulation processes don’t keep up with that pace. That mismatch is quietly draining margin and consistency across petfood formulation production. This webinar shows how to use optimization to forecast when to forward-buy ingredients\, and how to keep formulas aligned to market conditions without sacrificing nutrition\, palatability\, label claims\, or margin. Walk away with a practical way to link formulation and procurement\, so ingredient cost swings stop forcing constant reformulation and margin loss. \nThis webinar will broadcast at 10:00 AM CDT (Chicago) / 4:00 PM BST (London) / 11:00 PM CST (Beijing). \nWHAT YOU’LL LEARN: \n\nHow least-cost modeling can react to live ingredient pricing instead of running on stale data\, so optimization keeps pace with volatility\nHow ingredient forecasting flags which inputs to lock in early\nHow to qualify a substitute ingredient quickly while holding nutrition\, palatability\, and label-claim compliance\nHow linking procurement and formulation to the same data closes the gap between what you can source and what you can formulate\nHow to protect margin and hold product and brand consistency at the same time

SUMMARY:The Right Mix: How CraftMark Bakery Blends People\, Process\, and Learning
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nOn most shop floors\, training quality depends on who’s doing the training. That inconsistency has a cost – and it shows up in ramp time\, turnover\, and output. \nJoin Meaghan Meyer\, SVP Manufacturing\, Quality & Compliance at CraftMark Bakery\, and Redzone Product Consultant\, Derrick Bookwalter\, for an honest conversation about what it actually takes to build a frontline workforce that performs consistently across shifts\, across lines\, and through turnover. \nYou’ll hear how CraftMark moved from a reactive\, high-churn environment to one where new hires ramp faster\, skills are visible to leaders\, and institutional knowledge doesn’t walk out the door when a veteran operator does. \nWalk away with:\n– A real-world look at how a high-volume bakery tackled onboarding\, retention\, and upskilling with Redzone Learning\n– Practical approaches you can bring back to your own floor\, whether you’re managing one shift or multiple lines\n– Insight into what changes when training is tied directly to performance\, not just compliance. \nIf inconsistent training\, slow ramp time\, or knowledge gaps are holding your team back\, you won’t want to miss this one.
