SUMMARY:How Agentic AI Is Changing What's Possible in Dairy Operations
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nDairy operations have always generated enormous amounts of data. The question has never been whether to collect it; it’s been whether anyone has time to act on it before the moment passes. This session explores what changes when AI moves from reporting on the past to actively participating in what happens next. \n\n\n\n\nWhat We’ll Cover:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe shift that’s actually happening \nWhat separates agentic AI from the dashboards and analytics tools already in use\, and why the gap between knowing and doing is finally starting to close. We’ll ground this in the specific pressures facing dairy operators today. \n\n\n\n\nThree decisions that look different now \nA routing decision on a milk hauling network where small inefficiencies compound daily. A yield variance on the cheesemaking floor that doesn’t surface until the next shift review. An S&OP cycle where the analysis window shrinks the value of the output. What it looks like when AI is part of the loop\, not just the report. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat this means for the people making the decisions \nThe role of the planner\, the scheduler\, and the operations lead doesn’t disappear; it changes. We’ll talk about what human judgment is for when the system handles the first layer of response\, and how teams are actually adapting in practice. \n\n\n\n\nWhat to build toward and the questions worth asking now \nAn honest look at where this is heading over the next 12–24 months\, what separates organizations that will capture value from those that won’t\, and the specific questions every operator should be putting to their technology vendors.

SUMMARY:Integrating Heating and Cooling in Food Production
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nAs utility costs continue to rise and companies are pressured to reduce energy use\, waste heat is an increasingly valuable — and often untapped — resource. Recovering and reusing waste heat establishes on-site energy circularity that increases overall facility efficiency\, significantly lowers operational costs and supports decarbonization/sustainability efforts. Industrial heat pumps make it possible for food and beverage companies to recover heat from ammonia refrigeration systems and reuse the thermal energy for production processes like pasteurization\, sanitation and space heating – resulting in cost savings that can quickly pay back upfront investment. \nJoin this session to learn how industrial heat pumps work\, see in-the-field results and determine the scope of your facility’s opportunity. \nAttendees will learn: \n\nHow industrial heat pumps turn waste heat into cost savings.\nWhat makes a facility a strong candidate for ammonia refrigeration heat recovery.\nHow a cheese producer cut annual carbon emissions by 13 million pounds while achieving equipment ROI within a year and a half.\nHow to design a heat pump system that maximizes energy savings and accelerates return on investment.

SUMMARY:From Benchtop to In-Line for Compositional Analysis of Milk
DESCRIPTION:Register here \nBenchtop analyzers for compositional analysis of dairy samples are traditionally based on FT-IR spectrometers. Benchtop FT-IR analyzers have repeatability and accuracy necessary to serve as the reference measurement for samples used to calibrate in-line analyzers. Direct transfer of calibrations from the benchtop FT-IR analyzers is not possible as most in-line analyzers are based on Near-Infrared technology. \nBruker Optics introduced an FT-NIR based benchtop analyzer for measurement of fluid dairy samples nearly 10 years ago. The instruments have been certified by IDF and ISO as having accuracy and reproducibility comparable to the reference methods for compositional analysis of dairy products. Moreover\, the FT-NIR benchtop instruments utilize the same spectral range as instruments used for in-line analysis. This begs the question if calibrations developed on a benchtop FT-NIR spectrometer can be transferred to measurements performed using an in-line FT-NIR. \nIn this presentation\, we will explore the advantages and potential challenges of transferring PLS calibrations from a benchtop FT-NIR to inline FT-NIR measurements. WE will discuss the practical limitations due to measurement cell design\, sample type\, temperature\, and flow rate for the in-line system.

SUMMARY:AI-Powered S&OP in the Dairy Industry
DESCRIPTION:Register here \n\n\n\n\nVolatility in milk supply\, shifting demand patterns\, and razor-thin margins are making traditional planning tools obsolete — and dairy S&OP is harder than almost any other category. Perishability\, seasonal intake swings\, and yield complexity create planning challenges that generic tools simply weren’t built for\, and those pressures are only intensifying. \nThis session explores where AI actually makes a difference: multi-signal demand forecasting\, real-time supply balancing\, and scenario stress-testing that handles the trade-offs that overwhelm traditional planning. Concrete examples include demand forecasting that accounts for promotions and customer behavior\, and milk allocation models that optimize across the entire product mix. \nThe session also addresses how to get started without getting overwhelmed — the biggest mistakes organizations make when adopting AI\, and the practical first steps that actually work. No perfect data or massive budget required. A forward-looking close covers where AI in dairy is heading\, and why the window to get ahead of it is now\, not later. \nPortions of this webinar will be pre-recorded. If you have specific questions you would like answered\, please submit them before Wednesday\, April 15 – HERE  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Agenda: \n\nWelcome & Introduction\nDairy Industry S&OP Challenges\nAI’s Role in Dairy S&OP\nPractical AI Applications\nImplementation Insights\nClosing Thoughts
