Peet’s Coffee Reopens 13 More Location Across the US on MAY 28th, as Part of Phased Approach

WHAT: Proud to be a part of the many wonderful neighborhoods in which it serves, Peet’s remains committed to operating smartly in these unprecedented times.

As a continued part of their phased approach, Peet’s has announced the reopening of 13 additional locations, beginning May 28^th. Stores will reopen in California, Colorado, Maryland, and Virginia, with all locations operating in a limited access model whereby the cafe space is closed to customers.

With limited access operations in effect, customers can order and pick up at the front door of the coffeebar, or place an order using Mobile Order Ahead in the Peet’s app. Through the app, customers can easily find their favorite beverages and breakfast food items, with all locations offering whole and ground coffee beans for home brewing, too. Peet’s has also implemented delivery through a partnership with DoorDash.

To operate smartly, the company has implemented enhanced protocols for cleaning and sanitation. Additionally, employees are required to wear face coverings while working, with symptom checks being conducted at the beginning of each shift. The company has also moved POS registers and chip readers to the front of the stores so customers can perform their own credit card transactions.  Chip pads are wiped down after each guest.

Peet’s is continuing to evaluate the existing conditions and evolve operations accordingly with the well-being of Peetniks and communities in mind.
