(Nasdaq: HAIN), a leading organic and natural products company providing consumers with A Healthier Way of Life®, announced today that it will honor United States Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Robert Donnelly and his son John in a pregame ceremony at the September 28th Mets-Marlins evening game.
John is receiving a Folds of Honor scholarship for his education, and the Donnelly family will be recognized in a special pre-game ceremony on the field. The presentation is a show of appreciation on behalf of Hain Celestial brands’ partnership with Folds of Honor, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled American service members.

Officer Robert Donnelly served his country honorably for more than eight years, serving as a medic and an explosive ordnance disposal technician. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Nation’s Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. His son John is in the 10th grade, and plans to attend the Naval Academy after graduation.
