New addition to boost company’s partnerships and industry-wide sustainability initiatives
PHOENIX, August 30, 2022 – Heliae Development LLC, a pioneering algal and food tech company, is proud to announce the addition of Isabella Pacheco as Business Development and Sustainability Director. In this position, Pacheco will foster relationships throughout the food supply chain to further Heliae’s mission of enhancing soil, plant, animal, and human health.
Heliae has a growing portfolio of regenerative agriculture solutions through its Heliae® Agriculture division. The company’s commercially available line of microalgae-based soil microbial food, PhycoTerra®, helps agricultural producers improve soil health and crop yields.

Pacheco joins Heliae with a proven track record for creating strategic partnerships and driving profitability through sustainability programs on an international scale. In her previous roles with Fairtrade International, she executed partnerships with top retailers in natural food channels, led global sustainability-based labeling programs, and managed external relationships with brands, exporters, importers, manufacturers, and farming groups.
