PepsiCo, ADM, General Mills, Campbell Soup, and Hershey made the top 100 of JUST Capital’s recently released list of America’s Most JUST Companies. The list ranked the largest U.S. companies based on their performance on the issues a representative sample of 3,000 Americans prioritized regarding just business behavior.
JUST Capital collected and evaluated data from different sources about how each company performs across a variety of issues such as “pays a fair, living wage,” “acts ethically at the leadership level,” and “develops and supports sustainable products.”
The 2022 list includes the following food and beverage companies within the top 100.
PepsiCo Inc (#12)
- Ranked 12th overall and 1st in their industry (food, beverage, and tobacco)
- Ranked 2nd overall and 1st in their industry in “Communities”
- Ranked 61st overall and 5th in their industry in “Shareholders & Governance”
Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (#60)
- Ranked 60th overall and 2nd in their industry
- Ranked 50th overall and 4th in their industry in “Shareholders & Governance”
- Ranked 51st overall and 2nd in their industry in “Customers”
General Mills Inc (#65)
- Ranked 65th overall and 3rd in their industry
- Ranked 41st overall and 3rd in their industry in “Shareholders & Governance”
- Ranked 54th overall and 2nd in their industry in “Environment”
Campbell Soup Company (#77)
- Ranked 77th overall and 4th in their industry
