Raw honeycomb, caramelized fig ice cream, and single-ingredient peach chips are among this week’s new food and beverage products.
RIND Snacks: Peach Chips
RIND Snacks just announced the latest product in its line of upcycled, dehydrated fruit products — Peach Chips.
The new product contains a single ingredient (California peaches), is a healthy source of vitamins A and C, and offers 9 grams of fiber per bag. Like RIND’s other products, Peach Chips have no added sugars or preservatives and are vegan, gluten-free, Kosher certified, and non-GMO verified.
The limited-edition Peach Chips will be available for purchase in 2.7 oz. bags exclusively through Thrive Market.
Bushwick Kitchen: Raw Honey
Sauce and condiment company Bushwick Kitchen recently expanded its product line with the addition of Bees Knees Raw Honey Comb.
The 100% raw acacia honey comes in a 7 oz. container and offers a mildly sweet honey flavor with subtle vanilla undertones. The honeycomb can be incorporated into charcuterie boards or added as an ingredient or topping for a variety of foods and beverages — such as pancakes and waffles, yogurt and ice cream, or tea and coffee.
The honeycomb product is available through the brand’s website and Amazon, for a suggested price of $14.99.
Pasta Roni: Microwavable Pasta Sides
Pasta Roni Heat & Eat products in Penne Alfredo and Rotini Marinara varieties are joining the lineup of convenient side dishes from the makers of Rice-A-Roni and Pasta Roni.
The new pasta dishes are quick and easy to prepare in the microwave. Both varieties will be available in 8.8 oz. packages for a suggested retail price of $2.39.
Wildgood: Caramelized Fig Plant-Based Ice Cream
Wildgood announced a new flavor addition to its non-dairy frozen desserts made with extra virgin olive oil — Caramelized Fig.
The new plant-based ice cream features fig jam swirls and caramelized brown sugar in an ice cream made with olive oil sourced from family farms in Greece. The inclusion of olive oil helps Wildgood create products with lower saturated fat and fewer calories than leading dairy ice cream.
The new flavor is available through Wildgood’s website and nationwide Sprouts stores, as well as select grocery stores.
