MyWebGrocer, the leading provider of eCommerce and digital marketing solutions to the grocery and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries, announces that MyWebGrocer VP of Data & Insights, Michelle Cote, will present at the 24th Annual National Frozen and Refrigerated Food Association (NFRA) Executive Conference.

As industry experts forecast notable growth and momentum for online grocery shopping, brands and retailers are left to grapple with the effect it will have on their organization. According to MyWebGrocer’s client sales data from 2015, 78 percent of online shopping carts contain at least one frozen item, demonstrating the tremendous opportunity online grocery presents for frozen and refrigerated food brands. In this 45 minute session, Cote will highlight online shopper behavior and the specific frozen and refrigerated trends within ecommerce to help identify the shifts in category consumption within this new channel.

Online grocery shopping is forecasted to grow by leaps and bounds, but what’s the real (not just forecasted) impact on the frozen and refrigerated food categories? What does the online basket look like? What are the category trends online? And how does the eCommerce channel compare to in-store? Get the hard data and stats you need to start formulating your strategy for grocery eCommerce.

“Frozen and refrigerated food executives understand that online shoppers offer valuable insights to better understand shopping habits and preferences,” said Cote. “But brands are still grappling with the best way to streamline this process. This session is designed to offer insight into strategies and best practices for capturing and utilizing data.”
