In this role, Howard will oversee development and commercialization of natural color formulations and processes, and support customers across a wide range of applications in food, beverage and nutraceutical products.

As Color Technology Manager, Howard will lead the development and commercialization of new products and processes—ensuring they meet customer needs and support the continued growth of California Natural Color’s capabilities. He will play a fundamental role in guiding projects from concept through commercialization, and translating customer insights into technical solutions.
Howard brings a robust technical background with expertise in analytical methods such as chromatography and colorimetry, as well as experience in processing techniques like spray drying and emulsion formulation. He also brings a wealth of experience managing scientific teams and successfully delivering customer projects. Prior to joining California Natural Color, Howard served as Applications Manager for a color innovation group at a natural ingredients company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and a Master of Science in Crop Sciences from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, underscoring his strong foundation in food science.
