Readco to Showcase Continuous Processor in Transparent Cover to Reveal Twin Shaft Mixing Technology at PROCESS EXPO

At Booth #637, A Clear Understanding of Continuous Processing

York, PA: At Process Expo booth #637 from Oct. 8-11, 2019 in Chicago, Ill., process equipment manufacturer Readco Kurimoto, LLC, York, Pa. (www.readco.com), plans to reveal the twin shaft mixing technology typically hidden inside its Continuous Processors. To be presented inside a transparent cover, the Continuous Processor is to offer an up-close view of how the dual, co-rotating shafts and proprietary paddle arrangements are designed to promote the intimate contact among multiple wet and dry materials that ensures a homogeneous, uniform end product at discharge. The twin screws are to be shown in a variety of colors to represent the specialized materials, alloys and coatings that may be specified to comply with USDA- and 3A requirements, to provide extra resistance to wear and/or corrosion, and/or to meet other requirements based on the properties of the materials to be processed.

Devised to help provide a clear understanding of continuous processing, the Readco Continuous Processor is to offer a look at how replacing the multiple steps involved in batch processing with a non-stop, unattended operation speeds, eases and streamlines the process. Labor-intensive cleaning and batch to batch quality variations are eliminated while energy costs are reduced and floorspace reclaimed, among other benefits to be realized. The company’s Continuous Processors are custom-designed and manufactured based on testing conducted in its York, a. laboratory using customer materials and formulations to verify performance.
