AAK USA Announces Tania Moreira Parra Named Senior Account Manager

(April 6, 2023) Edison, NJ – AAK, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of value-adding specialty vegetable fats and oils, recently announced Tania Moreira Parra has joined the Western Region Sales team as Senior Account Manager. In her new role, Moreira Parra will manage key accounts and other new business development initiatives. She will also serve as the Business Development lead for organic oils.

As Senior Account Manager, Tania Moreira Parra will be based out of AAK’s Richmond, California Innovation Center. She will be responsible for managing AAK’s organic oils program in the US and Canada. She will also lead and grow a portfolio of food manufacturing customers, to strengthen relationships, develop strategic account management plans and identify potential growth opportunities.

Before joining AAK USA, Moreira Parra served as Sales Manager for AAK Mexico, generating consistent growth each year over the last twelve years. She has won four Global Sales Excellence awards at AAK while managing key global customers and other go-to-market personnel. She also managed the confectionery segment for AAK Mexico and transformed the category to achieve outstanding results. Prior to her time at AAK Mexico, Moreira Parra spent nine years in technical sales at Ecom Trading, a cocoa processing company.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.
