This week’s latest food and beverage products include new crunchy snacks, low-carb and low-sugar breads, and better-for-you frozen foods.

Dr. Praeger’s announced the addition of several new products to its line of better-for-you frozen foods:
  • Southwestern Black Bean Crunchy Stars, an air fryer-ready, crunchy snack combining black beans and Southwestern spices. Available to 475 Target stores nationwide for $6.29 per package.
  • BBQ Black Bean & Sweet Potato Slider Patties blend black beans, sweet potatoes, and smoky BBQ seasoning in a snackable size. Available to 475 Target stores nationwide for $6.29 per package.
  • Smoky Chipotle Sweet Potato Burger, a Costco-exclusive product debuting at 45 Costco locations across Texas, featuring the flavors of smoky chipotle seasoning and sweet potato.

In addition, two of the brand’s best-sellers — Crunchy Southwestern Sweet Potato Veggie Burgers and Crunchy Cauliflower Veggie Burgers — are getting expanded distribution.

Sola: New Bread Varieties

Sola is expanding its line of chef-crafted, low-carb and low-sugar breads, bagels, and buns, with new products including:

  • Kids Bread, made specifically for kids with zero sugar or added sweeteners, alongside a full serving of fruits and vegetables in every two slices. Available at H-E-B stores for the suggested retail price of $5.64.
  • Classic Bread in White and Multigrain varieties, slightly larger than the brand’s existing bread products, are packed with 8 grams of fiber, contain just 50 calories, and include no sugar or added sweeteners. Available at H-E-B stores for the suggested retail price of $4.98.
  • Rolls, available in Savory & Buttery and Sweet Hawaiian varieties. Will launch at H-E-B stores on June 7 for the suggested retail price of $4.98.

The new products are made with top-quality, non-GMO ingredients and no added sugar, artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. All items are also available for purchase through the brand’s website, priced at $8.95.

Kroma: Super Granola

Following the launch of its Super Ramen in April, Kroma released its Super Granola this week, a crunchy medley of functional superfoods with whole-body benefits.

The new granola features hints of vanilla bean, cinnamon, cardamom, and sea salt combined with nuts, seeds, berries, rolled oats, and coconut oil. It contains just 4 grams of sugar per serving and is gluten-free.

Blue Diamond: Ranch Flavored Almonds

Blue Diamond Growers is launching Ranch Flavored Almonds, limited-edition almonds flavored with cool, zesty herbs and spices.

Each serving offers six grams of plant protein and is an excellent source of the antioxidant vitamin E. The new almonds are also Kosher, Keto-certified, and Non-GMO Project Verified.

Ranch Flavored Almonds are available while supplies last in 6-ounce (Walmart, from May to October), 40-ounce (Sam’s Club in August), and 45-ounce sizes (Costco in May).
