Food Processing Expo 2020 provides an opportunity for food producers to grow their business, make them operate as efficiently as possible and learn about new regulations affecting the food processing industry.
This year the Expo will be held in a new location at the Santa Clara Convention Center, February 12-13. The Expo is California’s largest food processing trade show and is a premier event for all facets of the state’s food production industry.
Registration includes entrance to 12 workshops held throughout the two-day Expo focusing on timely topics such as “The Next Big Thing – Plant-Based Food Products,” “Food Labeling Regulations Update,” “Compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act Intentional Adulteration Rule and “Where Can You Find Product Development and Testing Help,” which will be conducted by Mattson, a leading food innovation and strategy company.
“The Expo includes something for everyone, whether you are an established food processor or just getting started,” said Ross Siragusa, Head of Global Agriculture and Seed for The Kraft Heinz Company and Chair of the California League of Food Producers (CLFP), which produces the Expo.
Keynote speakers include Phil Kafarakis, president of the Specialty Food Association, and Dr. Ken Goldberg, UC Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab, and an internationally known expert on robotics and artificial intelligence.
A Food Processing Technology and Innovation Showcase will be held at the Expo for the first time on the show floor and will be an excellent opportunity for food processors to meet with cutting edge researchers and innovators who are striving to solve a wide range of technical and operations problems facing food processors.
CLFP is an association representing the interests of both large and small food and beverage producers throughout the state. CLFP works to help ensure a favorable and profitable business environment for its members and the food processing industry.
