After interviewing many candidates, President-elect Donald Trump has named his pick for agriculture secretary: former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue.
The selection isn’t without controversy. One the one hand, NPR reports that Perdue “was a favorite among major farmers’ groups.” On the other, some are concerned that Perdue, who at one time had a grain and fertilizer business, won’t stand up for small farmers and the environment.
All that remains to be seen. But, for now, the Cabinet is complete.
