Fourteen food and beverage companies made the cut for Newsweek’s third annual list of America’s Most Responsible Companies. General Mills (#21), Keurig Dr Pepper (#64), and Campbell Soup (#67) were among the list of companies recognized for their commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
Newsweek partnered with Statista to release the comprehensive list of 500 companies, all of which were evaluated by more than 11,000 U.S. residents on three key performance indicators of corporate responsibility: environmental, social, and governance. The companies’ perception was ranked on factors such as whether they are actively protecting the environment, if they support diversity, and if they handle sensitive data with care, to name just a few.
The survey highlights corporations that place a high value on their social and environmental responsibilities and have committed to being a helpful and generous neighbor to the communities where their employees and customers work and live.
