This week’s lineup includes grain-free snacks, “the Honeycrisp of strawberries,” and a unique plant-based burger.
Greater Goods: Crackers, Cookies, and Biscotti
The Greater Goods Snacking Co. just made its debut into the U.S. market (the brand is known as She Made Foods in India) with a product lineup that includes several varieties of crackers, cookies, and biscotti:
- Crackers: Sea Salt, Tangy Tomato & Basil, and Caramelized Onion
- Cookies: Cinnamon Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Chip, and Chai Spice
- Biscotti: Orange Cranberry, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, and Double Dark Chocolate Pistachio
All products are made with almond flour and grain-free, vegan ingredients. They’re also organic, paleo-friendly, gluten-free, plant-based, and free from several top allergens.
Greater Goods’ U.S. launch makes it the only brand in the country to offer certified organic almond-flour based products. Available online, on Amazon, and at select retailers, the company’s crackers and cookies will carry a suggested price of $4.99, while the biscotti will be priced at $5.49.
Seal the Seasons: Ruby June Strawberries
Seal the Seasons is bringing Ruby June, a new type of strawberry nicknamed “the Honeycrisp of strawberries,” to the frozen fruit section.
Developed at Lassen Canyon Nursery and grown on Ron and Teresa Cottle’s North Carolina farm, the Ruby June strawberry is 50% sweeter than other commonly frozen strawberry varieties like Camino Reals or Ambrosias.
Ruby June strawberries will be available in 1,500 retail stores along the East Coast.
California Olive Ranch: Pasta Sauces
California Olive Ranch is expanding into a new category with its launch of extra virgin olive oil-based pasta sauces in five varieties — California Style Marinara, Garden Basil, Roasted Garlic, Portobello Mushroom, and Parmesan Vodka.
The new sauces are made with 100% California vine-ripened tomatoes and include no added preservatives or sugars.
All sauces are available online and at select nationwide retailers for a suggested price of $7.99.
NotCo announced the launch of its plant-based NotBurger created with Giuseppe, the company’s first-of-its-kind patented A.I. technology.
The new product features a combination of peas, bamboo, spinach, chia, and cocoa powder and offers a taste experience both meat and plant-based food lovers can appreciate.
Found in the frozen foods section, NotBurger is currently available in single 4 oz. packs and 16 oz. four-packs at Whole Foods, and will roll out to Sprouts Farmers Market at the end of August.
