Three new breakfast options and a pizza to spark debate are among this week’s new food products.
Oscar Mayer: Scramblers
Oscar Mayer is introducing Oscar Mayer Scramblers, the brand’s first refrigerated breakfast product, in Bacon & Velveeta, Ham & Colby Jack, and Wiener & Cheddar varieties.
Scramblers combines two Kraft Heinz brands in one breakfast product for the first time — Oscar Mayer meats and Velveeta cheese. Made using two fresh eggs, the new product provides a quick, on-the-go breakfast option.
Oscar Mayer Scramblers are now available at major retailers nationwide.
Banza: Protein Waffles
Banza is also entering the breakfast section for the first time with the launch of its new Protein Waffles in Homestyle, Blueberry, and Chocolate Chip varieties.
The new waffles are made with chickpeas, providing 2.5 times more protein, 3 times more fiber, and 35% fewer net carbs than the leading waffle brand.
Protein Waffles are now available at Whole Foods Market, both in-store and online, for $6.49 per box. They can also be purchased through the brand’s website and Amazon for $35.99 per 3-pack.
Pop-Tarts: Frosted Chocolatey Chip Pancake
Frosted Chocolatey Chip Pancake is the latest Pop-Tarts flavor to hit the shelves, combining chocolate chips, a buttery toaster pastry, and maple flavored icing to capture the taste of chocolate chip pancakes.
Frosted Chocolatey Chip Pancake will be available at Walmart this month, for the suggested price of $4.86 per 16-count box, with roll out to retailers nationwide in December.
DIGIORNO: Pineapple Pickle Pizza
This month, DIGIORNO is releasing its most contentious pizza yet — the Pineapple Pickle Pizza.
The new pizza features a hand-tossed crust, garlic sauce, and mozzarella cheese, with the controversial pineapple and pickle toppings each getting their own half so fans can choose their side.
Available for free via weekly drops on the brand’s website, customers can get a Pineapple Pickle Pizza on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
