Mixer Model 140C Offers Full Access for Complete Cleaning
Somerset, NJ: Process equipment manufacturer Gericke USA, Somerset, NJ (www.gerickegroup.com), has added a new Multiflux® GMS mixer to its New Jersey test laboratory. Installed to enable process engineers to test their product formulations on full-size equipment simulating actual operating conditions, the Multiflux GMS Model 140C mixer features the company’s signature cantilevered mixing rotors and oversized entry door that allow full access to the entire interior for fast, complete cleaning. The batch mixer may be tested using multiple liquid and dry, powdered materials and ingredients, including those in quantities below 0.01 percent. Tests may be shown via live stream, split screen video conferencing, online video or live in person at the test facility by appointment.
Selected for the test laboratory from six models in the Multiflux GMS mixer line, the hygienic GMS 140C suits food, nutrition, pharmaceutical and other sanitary processes with stainless steel construction, continuously welded seams, and polished surfaces to meet FDA/GMP requirements. The durable mixer joins a lineup of full-size equipment in the test laboratory that includes centrifugal sifters, Nibbler lump breakers, rotary valves, bag feeding and discharge stations, weight belt feeders and associated, automated control systems.
