Cauliflower crust pizza innovations, plant-based butters, and chocolate chips sweetened with dates are among the latest food and beverage products launching this week.
Juliet: Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay
Luxury boxed wine brand Juliet announced two new varietals — Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in 100% French oak staves and offers black fruit tasting notes that pair well with warming, comforting foods. The 2022 Chardonnay is a dry balanced wine; has kiwi, lemon rind, and lychee tasting notes; and pairs well with creamy pasta, seafood, and soft cheeses.
All Juliet’s wines are made in a Certified California Sustainable Winery in a low intervention style and housed in a 100% recyclable container. Both new varietals will be available in 1.5-litter Eco-Magnum™ containers for $35 each.
Wesson: Plant Butters
Wesson, known for its plant-based cooking oil, is entering the refrigerated aisle with its new Plant Butters, in Original and with Olive Oil varieties.
The new plant butters are 100% plant-based, dairy and preservative free, vegan, and offer a taste-tester-approved flavor. They will be debuting at select retailers in the Northeast.
Just Date: Date Sweetened Chocolate Chips
Whole fruit sweetener brand Just Date is launching Date Sweetened Chocolate Chips in two varieties — Milk and Dark Chocolate.
The new chocolate chips are certified organic, made with certified fair trade ingredients, and are upcycled certified. They are one of the only vegan milk chocolate options on the market, feature a clinically-verified low glycemic index, and are a good source of essential vitamins and minerals.
CAULIPOWER: New Pizza Product Lines
CAULIPOWER is adding three new product lines and seven new pizza products to their portfolio during National Pizza Month (October):
- Pizza Roma, in Margherita with Pesto and Mushroom & Caramelized Onions varieties (available at Whole Foods Market)
- Pizza Bites, in Four Cheese and Uncured Pepperoni varieties (available at Walmart, Giant, and Giant Foods)
- Over The Top Pizza, in The Dream Supreme, Spicy Chicken Sausage, and Trufflicious Mushroom varieties (available at Walmart)
